OUR HISTORY

Since Becky and Aaron Hale founded Vertex Education in 2007, it has served as an education services provider for Legacy Traditional Schools, which operates in Arizona, Nevada, Texas, and South Carolina. By 2019, schools beyond Legacy were seeking our support in areas such as enrollment marketing, NSLP food services, human resources, and talent acquisition. The demand was clear: schools needed a partner that understood their challenges and could deliver dependable, mission-aligned services.

That same commitment to service excellence is what brought Charter Choices—long recognized in Pennsylvania for their finance, accounting, and strategic planning expertise—into the Vertex family in 2023. In 2024, EdTec joined as well, contributing decades of regional finance and accounting leadership, school performance analysis expertise, and deep charter-specific knowledge across California, Nevada, Tennessee, Georgia, and New York. Later that year, K12 Accounting—a leader in business office solutions for schools in New Mexico and Colorado—became the latest organization to join Vertex Education.
